OUR TEAM


Brian Willis – CEO / Head Engineer
As Leap Racing’s founder and Head Engineer, Brian brings all the background and experience necessary to lead a successful design team. With over 30 years of direct race and design experience, Brian has also played a role in 3 LeMans wins. In addition to his years in racing, Brian also brings Undergraduate and Masters degrees. Both are dual degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Brian has worked with many big name teams and manufacturers such as Williams, Dan Gurney, Rahal Racing, Goh Motorsports, Don Panoz, Multimatic/MTC, Aston Martin, BMW, Ruf, Lola, Toyota, and Ford GT. His experience spans across hypercar, prototypes, hybrid, and electric cars. With his vast and fast past, Brian brings a wealth of expertise in vehicle concepts, aerodynamics, structures, and suspension kinematics.

Skitter Yaeger – Lead Performance Engineer
Skitter joins the team as the Lead Performance Engineer. His passion for this line of work began early when he started learning drafting and AutoCAD at age 15. He continued his educational path, earning a Mechanical Engineering degree a few years later. Professionally, Skitter has played key roles with projects/cars such as the DeltaWing, Champcar, and Superleague Formula. He has an aptitude for predictive analysis, vehicle simulation, and system analysis.


Rob Lindsey / Lead Design Engineer
Combining his Automotive engineering degree with 15 years of high level experience in the industry, Rob is Leap Racing’s Lead Design Engineer. He has had hands-on involvement in projects with Daytona Prototype, GTLM, IndyCar, ChampCar, IMSA Lite, Formula SCCA, and US-F2000 cars. Rob brings a high level of skills in component design, vehicle packaging, suspension analysis, and CFD.

Kim Harmon – Business Manager
With a 30-year background in racing, Kim balances out the engineers at Leap with her knowledge and experience of both the business and organizational aspects of the industry. In her career Kim has managed several different race series, worked with many leading IMSA, ALMS, and Grand Am teams in organizational capacities, and had many hands on roles both in the US and across Europe. At Leap, Kim fills her seat as Business Manager.
